New version SMS Extension 0.8
Hello! Okay, it's been a long time, and the 20 days are over already... but I have a study, and this week there was much time for programming.
Version 0.7 is not published, was too big and lame. Version 0.8 has simplified some things. First you have access to your SL's address book. Really, you don't need some .xls file anymore, just start midlet and enjoy. Unfortunately the loading speed of address book is 100 entries per five seconds, so a full address book lasts a half minute to load.
Second change: you can only store/load one message. That seems to be a disadvantage, but it isn't. Each successfull sent message will be stored in a single file with time stamp. Also, you only write one message at a time. Why shall you save more than one without sending them? You can save a message, quit midlet and later write on after reloading your message. It's very practicable I think. And it's fast. |
